Health and Safety
• If you are ill during the day of the appointment, please stay home and reschedule when you demonstrate proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
• I am fully vaccinated, and I wear masks throughout the entire makeup application.
• I provide proof of my full vaccination upon request.
• All of my tools, brushes, and products are sterilized between client appointments.
• Any client under the age of eighteen (18) must have a parent or legal guardian present for the duration of the session.
• Additional guests are NOT permitted under any circumstances (unless they are being serviced by me or unless you are under the age of 18 and require a parent or legal guardian's presence).
Courtesy Information
• You must arrive with a makeup-free face.
• You must not arrive intoxicated on any substances.
• You must not smoke on or within twenty (20) feet of the property.
• Any client who displays signs of intoxication or illness will be asked to leave the premises and cancel their appointment.
Late Policy and Cancellations
• You are permitted one (1) opportunity to reschedule within thirty (30) days of your original appointment with me.
• You can reschedule up to twenty-four (24) hours before your appointment.
• If your appointment is less than twenty-four (24) hours away, then rescheduling is no longer possible. Either attend the original appointment or cancel.
• Same-day cancellations cannot be rescheduled; a client in this situation will have to book a new appointment altogether.
• On the day of your appointment, you're allowed a fifteen-minute grace period.
• If you're more than fifteen (15) minutes late, you will be charged a late fee of $15, and your appointment can be cancelled at my discretion.
• No-call, no-show clients will not be allowed to book again in the future.
Location Information
• I am based in the Hillcrest area of Washington, DC.
• My studio remains only 20 minutes away from Washington National Airport.
• My studio remains only 20 minutes away from Union Station.
• The specific address will be sent via email after booking.
Payment Information
• You are allowed (and encouraged) to pay the full service amount at the time of the booking.
• Your remaining balance must be paid prior to the appointment's start time via Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, exact cash, and/or an exact check.
• All retainers and services are non-refundable unless I cancel your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances on my behalf.
• Any outstanding balance must be paid prior to booking and/or attending any future appointments.
Release of Liability
By booking any appointment, You (hereafter called the client) agree to release Sydney Noel and Sydney Noel Artistry (hereafter called the artist) from liability for any skin complications. The client also consents to the artist taking photographs/footage of the client before and after the service is provided. The client consents to said photographs and footage being used in the artist’s promotional materials and social media. The client will not receive any portion of compensation, nor are they entitled to compensation.
Terms and Conditions for Educational Courses
1. For any courses—digital and in-person—You (hereafter called the student) agree not to redistribute course information for compensation or otherwise. These items are the property of Sydney Noel and Sydney Noel Artistry (hereafter called the instructor). This includes—but is not limited to—sharing on the student's social-media platforms, copying and redistributing to other makeup artists, and so forth.
2. The student consents to the instructor taking photographs/footage of the student throughout the course/lesson. All footage and photographs are the property of the instructor, which may be posted on the instructor's social media, website, and other platforms associated with the instructor. These may be used for promotional purposes, compensated or otherwise. The student will not receive any portion of the compensation, nor are they entitled to compensation.
